Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there.
Today has been a good day.
You know how some days just seem more fulfilling? Days where you learn something new? Days where you discover something about yourself? It’s been one of THOSE days.
It all started with me sleeping in—something I hardly ever do and I’m hardly ever able to do if I want to. I relaxed and took it easy, scarfing down some homemade spaghetti I found in the freezer.
Later, I went to the gym and burned over 1000 calories. I was sweatin’ like a fat girl writing her first love letter. I was going to go for a swim, but found that my trunks from last year have gotten too big—they slid right off of me. So, instead of mooning everyone at the pool, I decided to stay in and chill.
I grabbed a late dinner after talking to my grandmother and re-capping her day. She is a joy to talk to and always makes me happy.
Finally, I read chapters in The Purpose Driven Life, A New Earth and The Future of Human Resource Management.
